Cutting your baby's nails

You're not usually meant to cut your baby's nails until he's at least a month old.
If you're scared about harming your baby, you should wait for the right moment, like when he's digesting, when he's asleep, or just after his bath so that his nails will be soft and easier to cut.
Don't cut them too short and give them a rounded shape.
You can use scissors that are especially for babies (with a rounded end) and make sure that the blades have been disinfected before using them.
