Bring the sun into your home: lemon or gold, saffron or mustard, yellow will look softer mixed with some white. These colours will be best for the darker rooms of your house and will add light.
You can add blend it in with a chocolate colour for a welcoming atmosphere, with green for a natural look, or with red and orange for a warm feeling.
