Making trendy place names

A simple idea for making place names for a sea theme is to collect some nice sea shells and pebbles and write the names of your guests on them with colouful or black felt pens.
Place them next to a glass or use them to place your knives on.
Another idea is to use stones and to write a different word on each one, thus making a sentence.
