Cutting tiles or faience with a pen

If you've got some tiles or square faience you need to cut, you can do so with a pen.
First, trace what you want to cut with a felt tip. Then go over it strongly with a pen. As soon as you hear it crack, put it on a straight surface and the bit you want to cut on the border and quickly push it down. It should then be neatly cut.
