Repairing cigarette burns on a rug or carpet

There's no other way to repair a cigarette burn in a rug or carpet than replacing the area with another piece of the same rug. You can easily do so by taking out a piece in a hidden area (like under a cupboard or behind a door). Take it out with a circular metal cutter and stick it in the burnt bit of the carpet with some glue. And next time, don't forget to smoke outside or provide ash trays!
