Choosing the right pencil case and school bag

Is it time to pick your kids pencil cases and school bags?
If possible, always go for leather bags, as they are much more hardier and easily repaired.
If you decide to buy a fabric one, avoid lots of colours and patterns as colouring entails a lot of pollution.
As for the pencil case, avoid plastic and synthetic fabrics, they might look nice but are less ecological than leather, wood or cloth.
And why not make one yourself? All you need is a bit of fabric or cloth, a zip, and a lot of imagination!
