Conserving cut flowers

To make your cut flowers last longer, spray under the petals and the leaves with some lacquer at about 30 cm away from them.
Cut the bottom of the stems at an angle with a sharp knife under hot water.
Wash your vase with hot water and fill it with luke warm water.
Finally, add a piece of charcoal and half a sugar cube to the water.
