Preparing planted pots for the winter

If you've got tropical planted pots, bring them in as soon as the temperature falls to about 10 degrees, between september and october.
Put them in a light and warm room, ideally in the veranda. Same goes for cactuses except they should go in cooler places like in the garage. Mediterranean plants should come in as from the first frost.
