Protecting sprouts from frost

Prepare a mixture with 1 litre of water and 20 grams of glycerine and 10 grams of methylated spirit. Vaporise this mixture on the branches of your shrubs as soon as it starts getting cold.
Young sprouts will be protected and will resist better during winter.
