Having fun in the car

It's easy to make car journeys fun for your children. You can use the surroundings as a game. For example, you can ask them to distinguish the different sorts of vehicles, i.e motorbike, car, lorry...
You can also ask them to be your co-driver and tell you when the traffic lights change colour.
When they're a bit older, they can count the number of cars, or just red or blue ones and also try and understand the different signs.
Car journeys will be made fun and no longer will you hear "are we there yet?"!
