Not making fun of your child

If your child tumbles when learning to walk, or gets his words mixed up, don't make fun of him.
It's important that you encourage him in his learning process, otherwise he won't be keen.
Put yourself in his position if you're learning something new, you wouldn't like it if everyone laughs at you if you don't succeed.
