Teaching time to your child

It's quite difficult teaching your child to realise the time, don't hesitate reminding him what he did before reading for example, and what he has to do after.
For example : "just before you ate, now you are going for a nap, and after your nap we'll go for a walk".
Then start using this morning, this afternoon, tonight, then days, (monday, tuesday) then months, and the periods of time (christmas, easter).
He'll then realise that everything has a time!
