Teaching your child colours and numbers with ladybirds

You can draw ladybirds to make it fun for your child to learn colours and numbers.
Ask him/her to paint the body in red, then the spots in black. Then ask him to count the number of spots.
You can paint the whole ladybird yellow, and (s)he'll learn that by putting blue spots on top, it will make green!
