Teaching your child to talk

The best solution for teaching your child to talk is to show him what it is you're talking about. For example "that's a fork" whilst showing him the fork.
Then gradually build on it, for example at tea tim "there's the fork, there's the knife, there's the plate", he'll pick it up quickly.
