Telling your child off in public

Avoid telling your child off in public as this is humiliating for him/her.

If he/she misbehaves, take him/her to a quite area by pulling his/her hand if you need to and make eye to eye contact when speaking.

You can also explain the reason why he/she is being told off, just make sure that there isn't a lot of people around, or wait until you're back home.

Just the same goes for not sending him/her to his/her room whilst his/her cousins are playing in the garden.
