Getting rid of a coffee stain or your carpet

Soak up the coffee stain straight away with some kitchen roll.
Then dab the stain with a tea towel dipped in vinegar and water (half of each) without rubbing.
If the stain persists, repeat as above, but with stronger vinegar (90 )
