It's sometimes quite difficult opening a jar of jam or gurkins. Here's a few tips: - put your jar an some very hot water, then open it with a tea towel. - put a large rubber bracelet or elastic band around the lid, which will help you grasp it. - If you're sure to eat what's inside of the jar quite quickly, you can always pierce a whole in the lid, which will help get rid of the suction.
